It's been a long time for me. Way too long. How about y'all, do you go often or is it just a couple time a year thing?

It was a every weekend thing for a wile but...now its like every few weeks.....or months.....:(

Used to be couple times a week, but now I have a 15 month old daughter and another one due next Friday.:eek: Now I'm lucky to go once every couple months.

I used to go shooting quite often, like once or twice a week. Since my son and shootin' partner joined the Air Force, I just don't seem to get out shooting much anymore.
When he was home on leave last month, we went 3 times in 10 days.

Took the Little Princess out to shoot her Marlin 15Y for the first time!
SHE asked to go shooting ( FINALLY!!! ).
She did VERY WELL. Safe. Dead-Eye, too! Like her sister, the First Princess!!!
I was a proud Daddy that day.

I am still recovering from the open-heart surgery, so we took the Beretta NEOS with its new 7.5" bbl. :D along with her rifle.

We'll go again soon.

I can hardly wait till my daughter is old enough to go shooting for the first time. On another note. Have you every been shooting, but just wasn't what you thought it should be?

After a while shooting paper can get boring. You never thought that there should be more involved. I am not sure. Can't put my finger on it.

Shooting paper is only to sharpen skills. Other than that, you must have reactionary targets. Either the exploding kind or the bleeding kind.

Shoot pretty much every weekend. Change what I shoot -- sometimes Superlight KISS, sometimes suppressed POF upper sometimes handguns. That keeps it interesting.

That brings back memories like you would not believe, I used to sit in the basement and shoot my .22 High Standard Supermatic into a bullet trap , great fun!:D
