I like the locking system on ARs, I like the magazine well system on ARs, I like the fact that the front and rear sights are on the same sub-assembly, I don't like the gas system, and I don't like 5.56mm. If I could get the RR ARMS .308 with an FAL gas system I guess I'd be happy;)

Nope, we had three types of sniper rifles in my troop. The Barret .50cal, that everyone wanted 'till they had to carry it to the perch, the M1A, and the M24 bolt action.

Not likely to ever like them.

But ,,,,,they are rifles (well, the AK is SORT OF a rifle) so they can be tolerated.

Hmmmm, I don't like AK's..........that you can take to the bank!! Even though I have one. AR's are okay, they have thier uses and sometimes are useless!! Yep, I have several of those......probably my fav is the 9mm AR....a FUN gun.

I used to not like ARs when it was illegal for me own 'em. Now I like 'em just fine. :D

ARs are kinda like fat girls, they can be a lot of fun, but you don't want your friends to see you with them. :eek:

Seems like maybe this rifle would be just about right in either 6.5 or 6.8 AND with a Fal/AK style gas piston. I don't know who is doing both right now.

When I was a little kid, back in the early '70s, I fell in love with the M-16. I had a toy M-16 (not the Mattel) that I carried around with me everywhere.
My first .22 I bought with my own money was a Squires-Bingham M-16, still have it.:D
