RAS question

I was wondering whether the KAC M4 RAS would fit the heavier M4 SOCOM barrel.
Has anyone here tried it? My M5 doesn't seem to fit my HBAR, so I wondered if the SOCOM would have a similar problem.

<EDIT> I seem to have answered my own question here: Upon reexamination, the M5 DOES fit the HBAR (I didn't have the screw backed out, my bad), so I'd assume that the M4 RAS would fit the M4 SOCOM barrel.

Not that you 'retro' guys would know anything about it...

I can confirm that the M4 RAS fits the SOCOM profile barrel. A friend with an M4gery changed his upper from the M4 gov't profile barrel to the M4 SOCOM profile and his M4 RAS fits both flawlessly.

HAHA!!!! Ouch. My KAC M5 fit fine on my Colt HBar, I've had problems geting my M4 RAS on my RRA HBar
